The debut of Marcela Tinayre as host of Controversy in the bar (America, at 23.15) was the most commented on social networks this Monday night, as well as the sayings of Gabriel Schultz in defense of Jey Mammón on the air of that program.

It is that the renowned journalist gave his opinion on the case for sexual abuse in which the former driver ofLa peña de Morfi (Telefe, Sundays at 11.30) was dismissed. And, far from criticizing him or questioning his relationship withLucas Benvenuto, who was a minor at the time, he came out to support him.

It all started when they aired Controversy in the bar the recent interview that Jey gave to Infobae talking about the cause that in March 2021 was closed by prescription.

After watching the tape, Marcela said that the case of Mammón reaches the media because of the notoriety of the artist but that similar situations are seen daily in many homes.

"I'm worried about Jey, huh. It worries me greatly. This man is broken," said Mirtha Legrand's daughter.

"As also Jey was worried about Lucas and then he was quiet for a week because he could not believe that Lucas, with whom they loved each other very much, was doing this to him," revealed Schultz, who worked with the questioned television presenter inLos Mammones and since Benvenuto's complaint was known he went out to bank him publicly.

"Well, Lucas doesn't say there was that love," Flavio Mendoza contradicted him. "Because this would end right away, he would have to go out and apologize and he's not going to do it," Gabriel interrupted him.

"He is a boy who did not have a mother to contain him, who did not have a father to raise him ...", said Eliana Guercio. Schultz added: "He had a horrible life and a person came along who gave him love, something he had never had."

"If that person was loving, why doesn't Lucas say that?" asked Mendoza again. "Because one day that person left him," replied the journalist who supports Jey, thus provoking the indignation of the famous dancer and the exvedette.

Chiche Gelblung opined in the same vein as Gabriel and the debate extended through a somewhat summarized score that Marcelo Polino made about the dark past of Benvenuto, who at age 11 was captured by a trafficking network.

"He was a very vulnerable kid," Polino said. "It's true, and he (for Jey) rescued him. He gave him love," Schultz said, prompting a wave of criticism on social media.

And he closed, in this regard: "He is not finished. The media lied, it was a butcher shop and people who a day before (the complaint was made public) ate with him, betrayed him."

Jey Mammón in one of the interviews he gave after the complaint of sexual abuse against him was known.

Then, Flavio asked him why the questioned artist took a week to go out to deny Benvenuto. "Because it was destroyed," said the journalist and former partner of Axel Kusnetzoff in Street Dogs.

And he concluded: "Here the problem is not age (if Lucas was 14 or 16 years old when he dated the actor), here the problem is that they accuse him of rapist."

Some of the comments on Twitter against Gabriel Schultz.

"Schultz saying that Mammon only gave 'love' to a 16-year-old boy", "What a nefarious being. How can you talk about love between a totally vulnerable child, a survivor of trafficking networks and an older who used him as a piece of meat?" and "Cancel that guy, aberrant what he defends!" were just some of the comments against the panelist's statements.

Angel de Brito also took aim at Gabriel Schultz in the nets.

Meanwhile, Angel de Brito also echoed the statements of his colleague, and said: "Shame like Chiche and Schultz trivialized the abuse and disguises it as 'love'. In the two previous cases there were convictions. The third prescribed, and was not investigated," tweeted the driver of LAM (America, at 20).
