A firefighter was injured in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes) after receiving a glass projectile on his vehicle in the night from Saturday to Sunday, Le Figaro learned, confirming information from Nice-Matin. He was treated in hospital for wounds on his face and lip. Injuries nevertheless not serious.
The departmental service of fire and rescue maralpin (Sdis) intervened Saturday evening around 22:30 to assist an ambulance in the neighboring town of Vence. After taking charge of the victim to transport him to the Antibois hospital, the firefighters were attacked by two individuals on the side of the road at the level of the road to Nice.

It was from there that a 39-year-old man threw a glass whisky bottle at the rescue vehicle. The window and bottle then shattered and sharp shrapnel reached the firefighter's face.
Following this act, the two men were arrested and taken into custody at the local police station. According to the first elements, they were heavily alcoholic and have few memories of this gesture. The affected firefighter decided to file a complaint, accompanied and supported by his group leader.
