Highlights: Elisa Carrió joined the claim of Maximiliano Abad, head of the Provincial Committee. Horacio Rodríguez Larreta refused to share Diego Santilli, and Patricia Bullrich chose Néstor Grindetti to compete in the country's main electoral district. Bullrich announced that he will put together his own lists in the 135 municipalities. "If we are not united in the province, we risk losing," warned the Buenos Aires legislator. "Very few. Today the scenario is one of competition. And in almost all categories," they practically ruled him out in Santilli's team.

The founder of the Civic Coalition showed herself with Maximiliano Abad, the radical who claims not to divide the electoral offer of Together for Change for governor.

Elisa Carrió joined the claim of Maximiliano Abad, head of the Provincial Committee, and went out to ask that Together for Change have a single candidate for governor of Buenos Aires. For the internal unleashed in the PRO, for the moment two applicants were cut. Horacio Rodríguez Larreta refused to share Diego Santilli, and Patricia Bullrich chose Néstor Grindetti to compete in the country's main electoral district.

The bid for the presidential candidacy further spread the dispute in the province and took it to the mayorships, even to the 22 held by the PRO. Bullrich announced that he will put together his own lists in the 135 municipalities. Perhaps there are few exceptions with unity ballots, such as Vicente López and General Pueyrredón.

"We have decided that this is a project totally aligned to an absolutely coherent change, that has strength and character, and does not stay halfway. At the national provincial and municipal level," said the former Minister of Security at an event in Lanús, the first shared with Grindetti. There are four weeks left for the closing of the lists, although he was blunt: "That has no turning back."

Abad, one of the pre-candidates for governor for the radicalism, had been demanding an agreement with the argument that dividing the electoral offer would be counterproductive for Together for Change. "If we are not united in the province, we risk losing. If that happens, it will be very difficult to govern and transform Argentina," warned the Buenos Aires legislator.

Due to the growth of Javier Milei, according to the polls, the risk to which Abad alludes refers to the position in which the pre-candidates for governor of Together for Change could be in case of an internal competition in the PASO: "Third, fourth and fifth. Then it is very difficult to go out and look for the useful vote."

Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, with Diego Santilli in a campaign activity in Moreno.

With a photo in his house of Exaltación de la Cruz, Carrió complied with the request. "Last call for unity," tweeted the former deputy, sitting between Abad and Maricel Etchecoin, president of the Civic Coalition in the province of Buenos Aires.

"We want a province with development and equal opportunities. Therefore, we make this last call for the unity of Together for Change. The present and future of the Province and of Argentina are at stake," said the radical in the same direction.

Winner in the 2021 legislative elections and better positioned in the surveys of voting intention due to his higher level of knowledge, Santilli would benefit from an agreement in the event that he resolved by analysis of surveys -as in the City-, although Rodríguez Larreta made the decision that he be his candidate and not carry Bullrich's ballot.

The UCR also has its intern

From the radicalism itself they questioned Abad for the request for unity. "It's logical what Horace did. Why are you going to share Santilli if he is the best measurer? Abad should have made a strategy for the radicalism to have a candidate. Now what he proposes depends on the internal PRO and is their problem, not ours, "said a leader aligned with Gerardo Morales. The president of the UCR wanted Facundo Manes to run for governor.

In this context, does Carrió and Abad's request have a chance of succeeding? "Very few. Today the scenario is one of competition. And in almost all categories," they practically ruled him out in Santilli's team, already focused on his own assembly in the districts – on Monday he met with candidates for mayors – and next to define his running mate.

Patricia Bullrich with Néstor Grindetti, his pre-candidate for governor for the province of Buenos Aires.

One of the possible candidates for vice governor is precisely Abad, although in that sector of the PRO they also contemplate Gustavo Posse -mayor of San Isidro- and Deputy Martin Tetaz, the other two who also signed up for the radicalism to fight for the succession of Axel Kicillof.

Bullrich's side also dismissed the possibility of an agreement to unify the gubernatorial candidate. "There is no turning back, Patricia has already affirmed Grindetti," they confirmed close to the former security minister.

Beyond the request, Carrio confirmed that he will be on Santilli's side in the Buenos Aires competition. "We have been working with Diego for three years, with a comprehensive view of government, spirit of coalition and unity. It meets the conditions of firmness to win the province and remove Kirchnerism without going to extremes, "Etchecoin had told Clarin, a few days ago.

Abad, for the moment, maintains his candidacy without taking sides between the sectors in conflict of the PRO. Both Santilli and Grindetti were asked about the need not to compete in the PASO.
