From tonight: Full night-time closures at Maxhof

From today and until next Wednesday, but not every night, the state road from Maxhof to the roundabout near Söcking will be closed. The only way to get to Maising is via Pöcking.

Pöcking/Söcking – The state road from the roundabout at Maxhof to the roundabout west of Söcking will be closed for a total of six nights this week and next. The reason is the renewal of the roadway, which is in poor condition according to the Weilheim State Building Authority. Significantly more traffic will flow over the road during the full closure of the B 2 in Starnberg at the end of August. "In order to keep the restrictions for road users as low as possible, this road construction work will be carried out as part of six full nightly closures - each from 20 p.m. in the evening to 6 a.m. - in the nights from Tuesday evening, May 30, to Saturday morning, June 3. and Monday evening, June 5, to Wednesday morning, June 7," the authority said.

The detour via Starnberg and Söcking is signposted. Road users to and from Maising must use a diversion route via Pöcking. Since there is a lack of possible diversions for trucks, the tonnage limit on Söckinger Straße in Starnberg will be lifted during these nights. During the day, the state road will be opened to traffic, but there will be occasional disruptions due to half-way closures and speed limits, the statement continues. A weather-related postponement is also conceivable, but the weather forecast is quite good.

Bus line 982 also affected

The closures also have an impact on public transport. According to the timetable, the last bus of line 982, which runs with a night-time closure on the days mentioned, will be diverted. The MVV announced: In the direction of Pöcking/Aschering, the buses, coming from the Schmalzhof industrial estate, first stop at the "Enzianweg" stop in Pöcking, then to Maising and then via Pöcking to Possenhofen and Aschering. This applies to the journeys at 19.50 p.m. and 20.50 p.m. from Starnberg Nord. In the direction of Starnberg, drive from the "Piusweg" stop first to Maising and then via "Enzianweg"/ Schmalzhof to Starnberg Nord. This concerns the journey at 19.40 p.m. from Aschering. These buses do not stop at Maxhof. The bus change will apply continuously from today, Monday, until June 7th.
