After a serious accident between Fürstenwalde/Spree and Storkow (Oder-Spree district), the A12 towards Berlin was fully closed on Tuesday morning. As the Brandenburg police reported, a van had hit a truck. According to initial findings, the driver was trapped in the van. A rescue helicopter was deployed on site.
Fürstenwalde/Storkow - Motorists are diverted from the motorway at the Fürstenwalde junction, a police spokesman said. So far, there has been no more detailed background information on the accident and injuries. The salvage and rescue operations continued. dpa
