Earlier today (Tuesday), the MDA Gilboa hotline received a report about a man and a woman injured in a shooting incident in um al-Fahm. Paramedics and paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced a 50-year-old man dead and provided medical treatment to a woman with a penetrating wound, before taking her to Valley Hospital. The police opened an investigation.
MDA paramedic Munib Fa'our said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man and a woman in their 50s suffering penetrating wounds to their bodies. We performed medical tests, the man had no signs of life and there was nothing left but to pronounce him dead. We provided medical treatment to a woman who was moderately injured and urgently evacuated her to hospital."

A spokeswoman for the Menashe Police said: "A short time ago we received a report of shooting in one of the neighborhoods in the city of um al-Fahm. Police forces called to the scene began collecting evidence and findings from the scene as part of the investigation that was opened to examine the circumstances of the incident."
Following the announcement of the shooting, the Abraham Initiatives reports that since the beginning of the year, 85 Arabs have lost their lives in circumstances related to violence and crime, of whom 78 were civilians and seven were non-citizens. In the same period last year, there were 32 victims.
