The discovery of a potentially dangerous liquid has led to a deployment of police and fire brigade in an apartment building in Berlin-Marzahn. Several tenants of the eleven-storey building had to leave their apartment on Tuesday, a police spokeswoman said. The trigger was that the sons of a resident of the house vacated the apartment after his death and came across a bucket with a liquid and a danger sign.
Berlin - The men would then have informed the authorities. Firefighters and employees of the Forensic Institute (CTI) checked on site which liquid was involved and whether it posed a danger. As a precaution, the residents of five apartments had to leave the building. However, the substance turned out to be harmless, the police later said. Dpa
