An IDF soldier was moderately wounded Monday night (Monday-Tuesday) by shrapnel from an IED during a joint counterterrorism operation by the security forces in the Nur a' Shams refugee camp in the Tulkarem area. The fighter was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment and his family was informed.

During the activity, massive gunfire was carried out and IEDs were thrown at the forces, who returned fire. Two Palestinians suspected of involvement in terrorist activities were detained.

The forces also operated in the villages of Silwad and Abu Dis to detain three other wanted persons. In addition, during the night, the IDF mapped the house of one of the terrorists who carried out the attack in Hamra, in which members of the Dee families were murdered, and the house of the terrorist who directed the attack in which First Sergeant Ido Baruch fell.
