But for this to happen, traffic in the street "Am Stadion" must be re-regulated in order to ensure regulated coexistence, city councillor Elli Huber recently said at the meeting. "Here you can only drive backwards," says the CSUS councillor. The parking facilities in front of the outdoor pool were addressed. Even before turning into the street, it should be made clear that parking and turning options are very limited. In fact, the square in front of the outdoor swimming pool, ice rink and tennis court is currently a forest of signs.
Parking is only allowed in the designated areas and usually there are already reserved parking spaces for Kioks employees and the EHC, also for guests of the restaurant, but these are only for 30 minutes to be used here. Four fixed stemples and two barriers prevent the onward journey to both large parking lots in the "Am Stadion" street, from which you can easily reach the sports facilities on foot in a few minutes. If you want to reach one of the normal parking lots, you have to drive via the Grafinger Ostbypass and the sports center connection. One should not be irritated by the fact that the latter is not yet fully paved. It's easier for cyclists. They can park their bikes directly at the outdoor pool.
"The road will be rebuilt with a turning point at the children's center, which is currently under construction," says Mayor Christian Bauer. There will also be a delivery and turning option for the ice rink. In the future, only short-term parking spaces will be available at the parking lot in front of the outdoor pool. In addition to the sports grounds and sports facilities, the children's centre will also have access to Am Stadion-Straße in the future. are
