THEFIGARO. - The Socialist Party of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez suffered a very heavy defeat in the municipal and regional elections on Sunday, May 28 in Spain. Of the twelve autonomous regions at stake, nine were governed by the Socialist Party (PSOE), and only Asturias, Castilla-La Mancha, the Canary Islands and Navarre resisted this blue wave.
