Disappeared 13-year-old: police are looking in the greater Munich area
Possibly, according to the investigators, Alsham Bereket is in the greater Munich area. He likes to visit churches. More could not be said about a possible contact point, as it was the first time that the boy had left. It is possible that he left the place by bus.
This is how the missing person is described: dark blue clothes, dark green sandals
The 13-year-old is about 1.50 meters tall, slim, dark-skinned and has short, black hair. The police assume that he is wearing a dark blue Puma sweater with a zipper, dark blue shorts and dark green sandals from the Crocks brand. Alsham speaks broken German, according to police.
The search has been going on since the morning
Initially, the investigations were conducted without the involvement of the public. Shortly after 13 p.m., Egmating's mayor, Inge Heiler, temporarily published a search call. In response to multiple EZ-requests, the responsible police inspectorate in Ebersberg confirmed the search for missing persons, but initially did not give any further details for a call for witnesses. There is still no release for a public search, according to the reasoning. For the same reason, the mayor referred to the police. The press release was issued around 16:30 p.m.
It was learned from fire brigade circles that this was not yet involved in the search in the early afternoon. Search dogs were apparently used for this. The police confirmed in the late afternoon that the area around the apartment building had been thoroughly searched.
