The Public Prosecutor's Office of Busto Arsizio (Varese) is acquiring all the documentation relating to the "Goduria", the tourist boat sunk the day before yesterday evening on Lake Maggiore, in Lisanza (Varese), causing the death of four people, including two belonging to Italian intelligence and one to the Israeli one, in addition to the skipper's partner, of Russian origin.
The investigators are examining the registration documents of the boat, including the draft of the hull, the maximum portability, any expansion or modernization works and all the technical-legal characteristics useful to understand whether or not everything was in order. Not only that, the weather alert communications disclosed in the hours before the storm that swept the boat and the decisions taken by the skipper will also be examined.
To enrich the file, at the moment still "exploratory" (in the next few hours the owner, Claudio Carminati, could be registered (also as a guarantee) in the register of suspects for shipwreck), there will also be autopsies on the bodies of Claudio Alonzi and Tiziana Barnobi, both 007 Italians, Shimoni Erez, former member of the Israeli security forces and Anya Bozhkova, companion of Carminati.
The recovery operations of the wreck, which sank 16 meters deep, are not yet finished. The examination of the latter will be fundamental for the direction of the investigation.
Among the twenty survivors medicated and immediately discharged to hospitals in the province of Varese, also numerous Israeli citizens.
