Recurring criticism

The drone attack on Tuesday morning, which caused two light injuries according to Moscow, has once again enraged the boss of Wagner, who has been up for months against the Russian Ministry of Defense. At the beginning of May, he had already published a shocking video in which he blamed the death of Wagner's mercenaries on the Russian army: "Shoigu (...) Where is the ammunition? If you gave ammunition, there would have been five times less (deaths)," he screamed in images also posted on his Telegram account.

He also castigated in an interview last week the "absolutely unprepared defense" of Moscow "to counter the threat in any way whatsoever", after an incursion of armed groups into the Russian border region of Belgorod, as reported by Le Figaro.

According to the Russian authorities, eight drones were detected in Moscow and its region on Tuesday, May 30, at dawn. Kiev denies any involvement. Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of seeking to "terrify" Russians.
