The couple wanted to turn the apartment into a home that would reflect them, their family character and meet all their needs. The guest bathroom was increased and expanded thanks to the foregoing of a home dining area, since the family has a large balcony that covers 100 square meters. They say it's all about timing in life. But what happens when you miss the deadline? A young couple with two children purchased a new contractor apartment in the center of the country, but unfortunately they were late in making tenant changes. The five-room apartment was already built, including a kitchen and bathrooms.

The couple, who wanted to turn the apartment into a home that would reflect them, their family character and meet all their needs, did not give up and hired interior designer Mali Levy Alboim, who realized their dream with proper planning and a precise design vision that was implemented in the best possible way.

Drastic changes to the structure could no longer be made, but nevertheless the designer and the couple decided to slightly change the order of the apartment, which is 130 square meters - the guest bathroom was increased and expanded thanks to the foregoing of a home dining area, since the family has a large balcony that covers 100 square meters and includes an outdoor kitchen and a large area for entertaining.

In addition, another bathroom inside the girl's room was taken out into the public space and thus became used by the two brothers of the family.

"I specialize in designing practical homes. Part of my credo is that a home should serve us, not the other way around. A house can be beautiful, but more importantly it should be comfortable. With lots of storage scattered around the house, everything has its place. This is my patent for keeping the house neat and clean", says Levi Alboim, and continues to describe the design vision of the house: "The chosen line for home design is modern, delicate, neutral. Although modern style is automatically associated with cold, in this house we added touches of wood and strong colors such as blue and yellow that give the space a warm feel, without detracting from the delicacy and cleanliness of the modern design."

The public space, which of course includes the living room and kitchen, is designed entirely in bright, monochromatic colors, with white dominating them. The clean and delicate design was carefully chosen in order to give the space a feeling of light and space as much as possible, since the kitchen is not very large. But the highlight of the house is the custom-designed and built blue wall cabinet: "This is the element of the house. We knew in advance that he was going to be the twist. You see it from the kitchen and the living room, and in addition, it serves as a buffer between the public and private spaces," explains the designer. Indeed, this is a very surprising and special element. The corner wall cabinet includes storage drawers that serve as a pantry, space to store wine bottles and also storage for coats. But that's not all, since this closet also includes a hidden door that leads directly to the parents' bedroom.

The private space was also designed precisely and every detail and furniture was carefully selected to suit both the design and the needs of the family. The private space, which includes the bedrooms and study, has been paved entirely with a fishbone floor to give warmth to the rooms. In the bedrooms were placed large cabinets from Delkov that contain a lot of storage and will serve the members of the household for many years. And if that wasn't enough, Levi Alboim added extra storage space in a niche in the corridor leading to the rooms. "In the original plan, this area was part of the daughter's room, but since we took the bathroom out, this area also went out into the hallway. That's why we decided to leave the closet there, also from Delkov, which was initially used as a closet for the bedroom and now serves as a storage closet for the household's bedding and towels."

The parents' bedroom was designed as a particularly luxurious suite, with only a glass wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom, giving the room depth and a sense of space. The bedroom is clean, elegant and manimalistic. The dominant shades in the space are, of course, white and wood thanks to the floor and the impressive brown bathroom cabinet made to order from Delkov cabinets and reflected through the transparent glass walls.

On choosing Delkov for bedroom and bathroom cabinets, the designer says: "I've been working with Delkov for over a decade, in everything related to cabinets. They also do carpentry and not just cabinets. I really love and appreciate the staff, service and professionalism, and in addition - their products are of the highest quality and last for many years."

Levi Alboim managed to turn a standard contractor apartment into a spectacular home. Thanks to a precise and modern design that includes clean lines and a bright and calm color palette, with strong touches of color - the end result is a bright, spacious and practical home, yet family and full of life.
