In "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", a candidate stumbled on the third question. Even Günther Jauch could hardly stand it and made him a one-time Joker offer.
Cologne - On Monday evening, Leon Maximilian Laloi was seen in his fight for the million on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". However, the candidate already stumbled at the 200-euro question and did not come up with the obviously correct answer – until moderator Günther Jauch (66) rushed to help with a pity joker.

The question "What can countless people quite rightly call their place of residence?" overwhelmed Leon Maxmilian Laloi. The possible answers were "Élysée Palace", "Federal Chancellery", "Bellevue Palace" or "White House". That the last answer is the right choice is obvious to everyone – except for the candidate himself. Although one participant recently complained that he had been misled by Günther Jauch, this time the quizmaster was extremely generous.
"I'm really on the tube," admitted Leon Maximilian Laloi. After Jauch's attempts to help had initially failed, the presenter let it come to a "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" premiere. "I'm going to make an additional joker that I've come up with. You can choose someone," he offered his candidate. The choice fell on a lady from the audience, to whom Jauch asked the question: "What kind of house do you live in?" Her answer: "In a white house." With that, the penny had finally dropped for Leon as well.
"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" - How many grand prize winners have there been so far?

Candidate was already on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" in 2022 and went home unlucky
But this was not the first time Leon Maximilian Laloi had sat on the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" -Chair. Last year, he made it to the 32,000-euro question. However, because his telephone joker had advised him to give a wrong answer, he rushed back to 500 euros. Said telephone joker had now helped him to get a second chance in the "surprise special". This time, Leon Maximilian went home with 16,000 euros.
