There will be no major announcements to expect from these two days of national predation conference, which bring together Thursday 1 and Friday 2 June several associations of breeders in Gorges (Hautes-Alpes) to discuss the attacks of wolves that multiply against their herds. However, the program transmitted by the FNSEA (which co-organizes the event alongside young farmers, the Chamber of Agriculture as well as the national sheep, cattle and horse federations) promises the participation of the various institutional actors concerned by the wolf problem: the Minister of Agriculture Marc Fesneau and his colleague in charge of the Ecological Transition, Bérangère Couillard, are expected by videoconference; and breeders are still counting on the participation of Fabienne Buccio, prefect of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and national coordinator of the wolf plan.
