And now? The NDR is sticking to its participation. The very first interested parties for 2024 are positioning themselves. But maybe you should just ask someone who knows about ESC success? For example, double winner Loreen. After her former success with "Euphoria", she won the competition again in 2023 with her song "Tattoo".

In fact, the two-time Eurovision Song Contest winner expressed an idea: "Diversity and originality are crucial. I'm a fan and very inspired by the German electro band Kraftwerk. Maybe they should be sent," the 39-year-old Swedish singer told radio station RPR1 in Mannheim on Wednesday. and Radio Rainbow. The question, however, is whether Kraftwerk would dare to stand on the ESC stage. If you believe the statements of pop singer Ross Antony, then hardly.

ESC winner Loreen admits: "It's a gamble"

In an interview with the F.A.Z., Loreen also commented on the topic and admits that it is not so easy to win. "It's a gamble," said the 39-year-old. "No one knows what will or won't work in a year. Every year is different. The only thing I can advise the artists is: Be truthful, be authentic. If you're not, the audience will notice."

Loreen calmly accepts the accusations of plagiarism against her song. "You can't reinvent the wheel. Inevitably, you will be inspired by other songs. But it's wrong to insist on it."
