Summer seeds carried in the wind: After a few days in which temperatures were relatively comfortable, June will open with a particularly hot weekend due to a depression over Egypt moving eastward towards us. Starting tomorrow (Thursday) there will be a noticeable increase in temperatures and it will become warmer than usual. The warming will be felt mainly in interior areas and will peak tomorrow, when there will be a further rise in temperatures and heavy heat conditions will develop, with temperatures of 44-37 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country.
The coastal plain and lowlands will experience severe heat conditions with temperatures exceeding 40°C. In contrast, in the mountains it will be warm, but more pleasant than the coastal plain and lowlands.
In the Jordan Valley, temperatures will climb up to 44°C and possibly beyond. At the same time, the sky will be partially covered with high and medium cloudiness, while at the same time there may be haze across the country as well as localized drizzle.
Apart from the unusual warming, there will be gusty winds throughout the country, and sandstorms will occur in the south of the country.

In addition, more attention should be paid than usual to the possibility of forgetting children or animals in vehicles. Meanwhile, the Nature and Parks Authority is also preparing for the heavy fire, and in this context announced that this Friday it is strictly forbidden to light fires in nature reserves and national parks due to the risk of fires.
On Saturday, the heat will be broken
Saturday will see a noticeable drop in temperatures, which will continue into Sunday, when it will be partly cloudy to clear. The stabilization of the weather and the return to the temperature that characterizes June will continue into Monday.
