The Abbey district was cordoned off by investigators on Wednesday afternoon in Grenoble. A man in his forties was shot dead while walking on Avenue Jeanne d'Arc. According to Le Dauphiné libéré, the victim was killed shortly before 16 p.m. by a man riding a scooter driven by an accomplice. Despite the intervention of the emergency services, the forty-year-old, who was shot several times, could not be resuscitated.
According to the public prosecutor of Grenoble, the victim has been identified but verifications are underway. The prosecutor's office went to the scene of the crime in the afternoon and the police officers of the judicial police service were seized of this investigation for murder. The two suspects, who fled, are actively sought.
