Mayor candidate Raz Sagi: Rosh HaAyin has amazing potential that must be realized. For 10 years, my faction members and I have been striving for much-needed change for the city. I believe in this with all my heart and it is my dedication. It is clear to me that when I lead the city, I will lead it to a different, better, higher quality and much more advanced place. I know it sounds cliché, but I really do come to serve the public. That's the essence.

We have a series of burning and enormous issues that need to be dealt with urgently from the first day of work: the power plant that was unfortunately approved at the beginning of the week – again because of the weak city leadership and I am preparing to stop them in the High Court of Justice – because I will not give up, the noise of the planes and the return of the metro line. At the same time, we need to turn the municipality into an efficient mechanism, add standards to the existing structure and set a real work plan that will advance Rosh HaAyin. And finally, it sounds banal, but... Rosh HaAyin deserves a large shopping mall, swimming pools, cinemas and entertainment places for young people and youth.

Rosh HaAyin will work on a vision for 10-20 years ahead, from which we will derive a 5-year plan. We will always work with the cooperation of the residents, transparently and with the assistance of government ministries. For the past decade Rosh HaAyin has been neglected and gone backwards and enough! Now its time has come. Because we really don't have another 5 years to waste.
