Ricardo Lopez Murphy explained why he did not show up to take the unity photo that portrayed Horacio Rodriguez Larreta with the pre-candidates for head of the Buenos Aires government for Together for Change. "It was to contribute to his campaign, and I am not supporting him," said the deputy, who ratified his support for Patricia Bullrich and clarified that he is still registered in the race in the City of Buenos Aires.

"You don't have to be naïve. The presentation gives a valuable and important space to the head of government, who is in a presidential campaign. I offered to be explained all the measures and appear in a face-to-face meeting, but not in an act," explained the former minister.

"In an act it seems to me that it is contributing to his campaign. And I'm not supporting him, so I can't act...", he continued in dialogue with LN+.

When told that he is part of Together for Change, he clarified that "it is true, but not in his campaign," for Rodríguez Larreta, pre-candidate for president for the opposition coalition.

"It's not that all the candidates are there," Lopez Murphy redoubled, referring to the fact that only the current head of the Buenos Aires government appeared in the photo and not the rest of the candidates for the opposition's presidential PASO, including Patricia Bullrich.

In that sense, he praised the former Minister of Security. "I have supported Bullrich. There are reasons to support it. She is the candidate with the best attributes to be president. In that field, I didn't want to give a confusing image today," he added of his conspicuous absence.

Finally, he confirmed that he is still in the race for the head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires and recalled the reasons why he gave up competing for the Casa Rosada.

"I made that decision many months ago, eight months ago. We had not reached the minimum ceiling to be able to be a candidate for president. The development of candidates and cadres throughout the country did not give me, we did not have the organization to be able to compete, "Lopez Murphy said.

Lopez Murphy charged against Lousteau: "It's the 125"

When defending his candidacy in the City, the national legislator said that his profile penetrates deep into the electoral base of the opposition and also left some questions against his rivals in the internal.

"None of those candidates reflect the Republican and liberal nuance that I reflect. And that it is important in the electoral base of Together for Change, "he said about his contribution.

Other times: full pandemic, masks, distancing and Martín Lousteau and Ricardo López Murphy on the same stage.

Then, he went on to differentiate himself from some of the JxC applicants. And he strongly questioned Martin Lousteau.

"Lousteau reflects something else, it comes from a different history. As Carolina Losada said the other time, he is the 125th. And with a Jorge Macri and with the current administration I have differences. For many years I have been with the tax cuts they are doing now," said Lopez Murphy, who has been facing an internal duel in his homeland, United Republicans.

On Jorge Macri, he deepened: "We come from different trajectories: he comes from Vicente López, I come from the City. It is a strong change that involves moving from one district to another. I don't have that characteristic. I was born in the City and have been making my political case in the City for a long time."
