After the suspects in his murder Aflalo were remanded in custody, the police confronted each other to find out their versions. The police claim to have a video of the vehicular attack, taken around the time of the incident, and it is unclear why the suspects were arrested only after 8 months. Police on Wednesday clashed between the suspects in the ramming of his teenager Aflalo on New Year's Eve, an incident that turned into an open investigation into a murder charge this week. Yesterday, the suspects were remanded in custody, including Bar Shammai, Chen Ziv Yitzhak Luria, Ben David, and the minor, who is suspected of pushing Aflalo into the road. With the exception of Ziv, the rest of the suspects will be brought tomorrow for another remand extension.

In extending his detention in court, the police hinted that there was a video of the incident being used as evidence in the investigation. However, in the review of Walla! Earlier today, at the scene of the vehicular incident on Arber Street in Tel Aviv, the owners of stores with cameras pointing at the area claimed that the cameras did not work that night. It should be noted that the video was taken around the time of the incident and the suspects were arrested only 8 months later.

Attorney Tal Litan, who represents the minor suspected of pushing Aflalo, also claimed yesterday that the entire incident was documented: "There are photographs, there are figures, colors of the characters' shirts. My client still adheres to his first version, according to which he was not arrested even a day after the incident after being interrogated. He says: 'I didn't push, I didn't plan, I didn't do anything.'"

"Even during yesterday's interrogation, he still said: 'I'm willing for you to present me with any evidence that I want to harm this child, who is a friend of my neighborhood.'" He knows that the place is documented by cameras. Does he know there are enough characters why would he do it here in his neighborhood? Under the nose and the building? He says if you're so smart I need contact with the driver and passenger, why isn't the driver stopped? What is running is just rumors."

Attorney Alika Levin, who represents Yitzhak Luria Ben David, said at the end of yesterday's hearing: "This is a suspect who was not at the scene at the time of the incident, he is not connected to the incident. He gives his version, he details exactly what he did that day, there is no evidence that he is accused of being connected to the incident in one way or another, and therefore his detention was extended only until Thursday, contrary to the demand of the investigating unit, which arrived today with a request for detention for seven days."

It is believed that the purpose of the police now at this stage of the investigation is to prove that these two phases were planned and coordinated in advance by the group of suspects, as part of a plan to murder Aflalo. On the other hand, the suspects will continue to claim that the boy was pushed without intent to murder him and that the impact of the vehicle was in fact an unintentional car accident, as investigated around the time of the incident.

Graffiti was also sprayed today in the neighborhood where the ramming took place. Among other things, it was written: "Chen will speak, Shalev wants the truth." This is in the context of Chen Ziv, one of the suspects.
