More than 60 incidents in 31 days: Dozens of shooting incidents took place in Judea and Samaria in the past month, according to the Jewish Voice website, an independent news website operated by Yitzhar. These are about 64 incidents, some of which are based on Arab reports and took place in Palestinian villages and cities against IDF forces, but at the same time it is a significant backlog of events that reinforces the settlers' statements about the loss of safety in the area.
There is no doubt at all that there is a deterioration in Judea and Samaria when it comes to security incidents. This past week shots were fired at the community of Mevo Dotan, and two days later the shooting attack near Hermesh in which Meir Tamari was murdered. At the same time, shots were fired at a military brigade near Kiryat Arba with no casualties. This is in addition to a number of rocks and stones thrown at Israelis, in which a number of Israelis were injured. Thus, an Israeli woman sustained minor injuries near the village of Lubban a-Sharqiya, in the Binyamin area, as a result of a rock thrown at her. On the same day, an Israeli man in eastern Gush Etzion was hit by a rock thrown at him.

Following the attacks and shooting incidents in the area, this week IDF forces operated in northern Samaria, including in the Tulkarm area, where the IDF identified an increase in attempts to carry out attacks. For this reason, it was decided to act and neutralize factors that could further inflame the area.
The massive stone-throwing in the Lubban a-Sharqiya area led residents of Binyamin and Samaria to actively protest. Dozens of residents of the community of Ali and Gush Shiloh held morning prayers at the entrance to the village on Thursday, and these prayers will continue as more stones are thrown.

Ariel Almalich, chairman of Ali: "The residents of Kfar Luban must understand that any stone they throw at us will hit them back. If our daily routine is disrupted, their daily routine will now be severely affected. We will defend with our bodies our wives and children, who are in daily danger from the terrorists from the village who throw stones. We will not allow the blood of the residents of Ali to be wanton."
