Hundreds of people are demonstrating in Tel Aviv on Thursday under the banner of the "Governance March." The demonstrators came to protest the legal revolution, they said, so that "they won't steal our elections." The demonstration was organized by the Im Tirtzu movement, whose main message is to pressure the coalition's Knesset members to promote the laws of the legal revolution.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, MKs Tali Gottlie, Boaz Bismuth, and Uriel Kellner announced that they would attend the march, and in addition to them, other Knesset members and ministers from the coalition expressed their support for the protest. "They won't steal our country, the people demand governance now," reads a poster circulating in recent days calling on the public to come. After concentrating on Habima Square, the protesters began marching towards the Tel Aviv Museum plaza.

Aviad Lizarovitch, 57, from Beit Shemesh, who came to Tel Aviv to take part in the march, said: "I am demonstrating in favor of the reform in order to encourage right-wing Knesset members to continue to lead and implement the reform laws."

Arieh, 59, from Ramat Gan, added: "I came because of the hatred that exists among the people today against religious Zionism. Because learning Torah is one of the basic things that exists. This is not just a demonstration in favor of legal reform. I am in favor of passing legal reform in dialogue. Right now, there's not enough pressure on elected officials."

Michael Paamouni told Walla! What brought him to the demonstration: "I came to support Yariv Levin. He is a worthy leader who leads the right moves. All the claims of the Kaplan demonstrations are incorrect. Inequality has been created due to aggressive Supreme Court policies, which are essentially prevented by Western doctrines of excessive freedom of expression. The essence of democracy is borders. As soon as borders are crossed, democracy is destroyed because of democracy. We see this in the parade of shame and disgrace (referring to the Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem - E.H.) sponsored by anti-Jewish elements, not for what Zionism was aiming for. The whole issue of protecting the rights of minorities is just a flag designed to attack Judaism."

Amir Efremov, 23, from Ashdod, disguised himself as a prisoner as part of the "High Court Prisoners" exhibit. "I think it would even be to go so far as to say that we are prisoners just because of the Supreme Court," Afremov said. "We've been under bureaucratic rule for years. There is a mafia of bureaucrats here, regardless of which camp you are. A prosecutor's office that works together with the police, everything related to the establishment in the country," he added.

Shai, 48, from Tel Aviv, came to the "governance march" with his partner and held a sign that read: "LGBT and right-wing." Shai told Walla!: "I came out in 1995. Coming out as right-wing is very difficult. I grew up in a left-wing environment that doesn't accept any other opinion. The Jewish people are a religion that accepts, there are many people who wear kippot here and they welcome me here with an embrace. If I walk with that sign at the Pride parade, I'll get spit on."

"I'm not afraid that anti-LGBT laws will be passed, because Judaism is a tolerant religion. Anyone who has this fear doesn't know what it means to be Jewish. I come from a Likudnik family, east of south Tel Aviv. My whole family got it directly. So what am I supposed to be afraid of?" he added.
