In the same act in which he included a photo with the four pre-candidates for head of Government of the City of Together for Change, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, in campaign mode, presented a bill that promotes a sharp reduction in the rates of the tax on Gross Income to different productive sectors.
Rodríguez Larreta was accompanied by different business and trade union leaders, such as the Argentine Rural Society (SRA), Argentine Rural Confederations (CRA), the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), the Argentine Chamber of Construction (Camarco), the Federation of Commerce and Industry of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (Fecoba), the Construction Workers Union of the Argentine Republic (Uocra) and the Argentine Union of Rural Workers and Stevedores (Uatre).
The initiative is part of a series of electoral proposals by Larreta, pre-candidate for president for Together for Change.

At the beginning of this year, also in campaign mode, the head of the Buenos Aires Government had announced that he was removing a tax on credit cards that his own management had created from the removal of co-participation to the city of Buenos Aires that Nación decided.
It was in this context that Rodríguez Larreta showed himself with the four pre-candidates to succeed him in office within Together for Change: Jorge Macri of PRO, Martín Lousteau of UCR Evolution, Graciela Ocaña of Public Trust and Roberto García Moritán of United Republicans. Ricardo Lopez Murphy, who is currently linked to Patricia Bullrich and who has an open dispute over his candidacy with Garcia Moritán was not present.

In relation to the bill he presented, Rodríguez Larreta warned that "formal private work has not grown in Argentina for more than 10 years" and, in that context, said that "that must be changed now and forever." The reductions in the rates will reach the Manufacturing Industry, the Construction sector and the activities of the Primary sector.
Following this line, he said that throughout the country he hears testimonies about how the main barrier to the creation of new jobs are the obstacles that the State puts on private initiative.
"Let's start by speaking the truth. No State can function without collecting taxes, but those taxes have to be reasonable and efficient to enhance production chains and encourage job creation," he said.
In this regard, the head of the Buenos Aires Government said that "to lower taxes it is necessary to order the accounts, generate fiscal balance and achieve zero deficit" and highlighted the work that was done in the City in the last 16 years, during the management of the PRO.
"For years we worked with concrete goals translated into clear and responsible budgets. And today the results are seen: we achieved the lowest level of debt in 10 years, at the same time that we transformed the city with the most ambitious public works plan in the history of the City, we reached fiscal balance and transformed it into a surplus, which allows us to reduce the burden of the State on citizens and on companies. On the other hand, Rodríguez Larreta assured that in the bill that he sent to the Legislature will be reflected the public commitment of the City that, in case the national government complies with the ruling of the Supreme Court, the rate of Gross Income to financial instruments will be lowered.
The reference alluded to the co-participation file in which the highest court must still resolve the fund and that caused a decrease in tax revenues to the City of more than $ 200,000 million in two years.
In addition to Larreta and the leaders of Together for Change, business leaders were present at the announcement. For the Argentine Rural Society, Nicolás Pino (president), Raúl Etchevehere (vice president) and Marcos Pereda (vice president).
Representing UIA were Daniel Funes de Rioja (president), Diego Coatz (executive director), Carla Martín Bonito (executive director of Copal), Eduardo Franciosi (executive director of CILFA) and Diego Leal (president of the SME and Regional Development Department).
Meanwhile, Gustavo Weiss (president), Carlos Folatti (1st vice president), Carlos Galuccio (4th vice president) and Nancy Hornus (president of the Equity Commission) participated for Camarco. From Fecoba were present Fabián Castillo (president), Sergio Lamas (secretary general) and Marcelo Freire (secretary of Finance).
The Secretary of Organization and Trade Union Affairs of the Uocra, Rubén Pronoti, also participated.
City government sources said they will seek that the initiative "be treated promptly" by the Buenos Aires Legislature, but clarified that there is still no date.
