Tuesday, in the early afternoon, the police of Nantes are warned of the theft of a car in the district of Saint-Joseph-de-Porterie, located north of the city. The police are on the lookout. Their vigilance will pay off around 16:30 p.m.
"A crew of the Bac [anti-crime brigade, Editor's note] spotted the vehicle in circulation with only one individual on board," reports the Figaro a source close to the investigation confirming information from Presse Ocean. "The driver refused the control and took all the risks," says the same source. Responsible for a hit-and-run, the driver did not hesitate to voluntarily hit the police vehicle which was stuck on a directional island.

Multi-hatted offender
A second crew of the police then takes over. The same scenario occurs. Obstinate, the driver refuses to stop and multiplies dangerous maneuvers. Once again, he collided with the police car. Shortly after, he decided to "immobilize" his vehicle to "try to flee on foot". A choice that will not have smiled on him since he was "arrested" by the police.
They do not know it yet, but they have just got their hands on a multi-hatted offender. First element: they discover that the minor "was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the facts", according to the same police source. Then, the latter is identified as "the author of delivery of illicit objects (cannabis resin and a knife) to the prison of Nantes" occurred a little earlier in the afternoon.

Partial acknowledgement of facts
On him are also found "objects from theft from the separate trailer", committed in recent days in the perimeter where he stole the car. While in custody, the teenager admitted to the theft of the car and the aggravated refusal to comply.

"He also did not recognize the delivery of illicit objects," says the source close to the investigation. On Thursday, the suspect was brought before the prosecutor's office. According to Ouest France, the young driver has been placed under judicial control and will be summoned before a juvenile judge.
