In the video: Rabbi Shai Tahan (PR)
This Shabbat, we will read in the synagogue the portion of Ba'aleich, in which the holy Torah tells us about the complaints of the Israelites in the desert. One of the complaints was that they were gone for three days - even though they actually only walked one day.
Rabbi Shai Techan, Rosh Kollel Sha'arei Ezra and Head of Beit Torah Arazi HaLevanon, expanded on the issue of complaints in his weekly corner.

Why do people complain? Rabbi Tahan explains that sometimes there are endless complaints, and even if a person gets what he wants, he will continue to look for something to complain about, and why? Because he wants something else.
Even today we see demonstrations in the streets of Israel, and sometimes the goal is to kick the leader out of his seat, not the issues raised at the demonstrations. It was the same in the desert.
