Berlin – Since the beginning of the Ukraine war, it has become clear that the Bundeswehr urgently needs modern weapons systems. Now a new rocket launcher is to support the troops in national defense. We are talking about the "Euro-PULS" system. This was developed by the company Elbit from Israel in cooperation with the German armaments company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann.

According to information from Bild, the rocket launcher could soon be used in Germany if it convinces in tests. It would then be the successor to the "Mars II system", which is currently used by the Bundeswehr. In the Ministry of Defense in Berlin, the approval for the purchase is said to be already large, but Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) has yet to give his blessing.

Pistorius wants a new rocket launcher for the Bundeswehr: What can Puls do?
The "Precise and Universal Launching System" (PULS) has been used by the Israeli military for several years. The rocket launcher convinces above all with its flexibility and can shoot two different warheads at once. On the one hand, ammunition of 122 mm caliber, and on the other, missiles of the "Predator Hawk" type. These carry a 140-kilogram warhead that precisely hits its target at 300 kilometers.
