Gauting - In the garden of his house, an 84-year-old man from Gauting falls into a four-meter-deep light shaft.
On Thursday evening, the senior worked in the garden of his house in Buchenstraße. Around 20:15 p.m., he fell into the light well. There, the pensioner remained injured because he could not move after his fall. After noticing her husband's fall, his wife immediately alerted the emergency services.
Neighbor takes over the first care of the pensioner in Gauting
In the meantime, the injured man was cared for by a neighbor who is fortunately a doctor. Since the 84-year-old had suffered injuries to his back and apparently fractures to both arms and shoulders in the fall, he first had to be rescued from the light shaft by the Gauting volunteer fire brigade before he could be taken by ambulance to the Großhadern Hospital.
