In Tegernbach, you can now swim again: The outdoor pool has started the summer season - after a one-year renovation period.
Tegernbach – Just in time for the bathing season, the time has come: The completely renovated outdoor pool in Tegernbach opens its doors today, Friday, at 11 a.m. This completes the one-year construction work and nothing stands in the way of bathing fun. Just a few days ago, Mayor Michael Krumbucher, without naming a specific day, announced in an FT interview: "In June, the Tegernbach outdoor pool will be open."
And indeed, the bathing season can start - albeit with restrictions: "For the time being, only the designated areas of the green space may be entered," the municipality announces. And kiosk operations will also "still take place with restrictions" at the start of the season. In addition, the group changing rooms are still closed. But at least you can swim - daily from 10 a.m. to 20 p.m. Season tickets can be purchased at the town hall or at the outdoor pool during opening hours.
Thus, the citizens of the Hallertau have two reasons to celebrate: Already on Wednesday, the elaborately renovated forest pool in Nandlstadt was released, so now the Tegernbach outdoor pool follows. Meanwhile, the open-air swimming pool in Gammelsdorf is still on hold: the pool in need of renovation is to be replaced by a new building. But there are no concrete plans for this yet.
The bathing season has also begun in the newly renovated Waldbad in Nandlstadt.
