Amman – On June 1, the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein (28) to Saudi Arabian architect Rajwa Al Saif (29) was celebrated in the Jordanian capital Amman. In front of 140 hand-picked guests, the son of King Abdullah II (61) and Queen Rania of Jordan (52) tied the knot with his bride at Zahran Palace. For a long time it was unclear whether Prince William (40) and Kate Middleton (41) would also be celebrities, but when they came, everyone wanted to know only one thing: Where did the Princess of Wales get her dresses from?
Princess Kate buys her favorite dresses twice in different colors
Anyone who thought they had ever seen the exciting glitter design sparkle was not wrong. The wife of the heir to the British throne Prince William (40) showed herself in the evening in a new version of an old favorite dress: She wore a rose gold sequin dress by Jenny Packham and added to the look with meaningful royal jewelry, the blue sash and the Maltese cross, which she had received as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.
The 41-year-old Princess of Wales wore for the first time a significant piece of jewelry from the collection of Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022), the Greville Chandelier earrings that Queen Mum (101, † 2002) gave her for her wedding in 1949. Middleton paired the dazzling diamonds with Princess Diana's Lover's Knot Tiara when, along with Prince William, they greeted the newlyweds and their family members at the evening reception after the ceremony. The fans were enraptured by the warmth that reigned between the couples.
Princess Kate spent part of her childhood in Jordan
Princess Kate has a very special connection to Jordan. From May 1984 to September 1986, the Middletons lived in Amman, where Kate's father Michael Middleton (73) worked as a manager for British Airways. In 2021, William and Kate traveled to Jordan with their children Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5), where they visited the ruined city of Petra, among other places.

The princess obviously liked the look, as the repeat offender already wore the same model in rich forest green on a trip to Pakistan in 2019 and at the Royal Variety Performance in 2021. The Packham design has also taken a liking to other queens. Whether by accident or copied, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark (51), in an enchanting gown by Jesper Høvring), who was also on the wedding guest list, wore Kate's pink version of the dress to the wedding in Amman last year.

At the wedding ceremony in the afternoon, Catherine showed off a brand new powder-pink dress by designer Elie Saab at the Jordanian couple's outdoor wedding ceremony. Kate's Charlie' clutch in gold glitter swayed loosely as she walked to the wedding venue, and the princess styled Prada's tried-and-tested beige suede sandals.
