Historical figure of Parisian bistronomy in his Frenchie, rue du Nil (2nd), opened in 2009, Gregory Marchand will close on June 21 his "fast good" Frenchie to Go, known as FTG, after ten years of good and loyal service. Hundreds of thousands of Reuben sandwiches with homemade pastrami, hot dogs (voted the best in Paris by the "Figaro Scope"), pulled porks, fried chicken burgers and lobster rolls later, here is this pioneer of quality Parisian street food throwing in the towel... And this at a time when the niche - burgers in the lead - has never been so diversified, attracting more and more restaurateurs, like Hélène Darroze (Joia Bun) or Yannick Alléno (Père & Fils). The forty-year-old Michelin-starred explains this closure and confides in the Altro Frenchie, which will open in place of FTG at the end of September.
