E-bike cyclist found dead in Nuremberg - police hope for witnesses
The passer-by had found him on Friday morning, June 2, off the bike path on the north side of the Pegnitz between the Fuchsloch and the Kurgartenbrücke – about the level of the local sports club at around 9.15 a.m. Initial investigations by the Nuremberg traffic police revealed on the same day that the man was riding his bike from Nuremberg on the bike path in the direction of Fürth between 08:00 a.m. and 09:15 a.m. It is therefore still unclear whether the 52-year-old had an accident with his bike for unknown reasons or whether there is an underlying medical cause.
