In the middle of the two Corona lockdowns, the Familotel Bayrischzell opened three years ago. In the meantime, operations are running at full speed. Now the house invites you to an open day.
Bayrischzell – The Familotel Bayrischzell of the Pletzer Resorts Group has by no means had an open door on all days of its still young history. No wonder the hotel with its 69 rooms opened in the summer of 2020 and thus between the two major Corona lockdowns. "Open, close, open, close," is how hotel director Michael Kirchhoff describes the curious opening hours of the first few months. He and his team are all the more relieved that the Familotel has finally really arrived in normal operation. It's high time to push the open door a little further: at the big hotel open day on Saturday, 3 June.
From 10 a.m. to 17:30 p.m., visitors can expect a full program for the whole family, according to the press release. Attractions for children (including a bouncy castle in the shape of an oversized cow), fitness courses, hotel tours, performances by the Bayrischzeller Plattler and music band, delicacies from the show kitchen and competitions. When the weather is nice, guests should definitely pack their bathing suits, Kirchhoff advises: "We're planning a big pool party." Meanwhile, visitors could leave their wallets at home: all offers are free of charge.
Day visitors welcome all year round
According to Kirchhoff, the target group of the hotel open day is primarily locals from Bayrischzell and the surrounding area. "We want to show them that we also welcome day visitors all year round." You could eat at the restaurant, have a drink at the bar and even use the fitness facilities with daily and monthly passes. But the Familotel also wants to present itself as an attractive employer for the local population. Not only experts, but also career changers could become part of the team, emphasizes the hotel director.

Meanwhile, when it comes to overnight guests, the Pletzer Resort House focuses primarily on the combination of work and leisure. "Mum or Dad attend a seminar with us while the children enjoy a great holiday programme," Kirchhoff describes. But "learning camps" are also possible. Everyone could then enjoy their free time together as an adventure holiday. This is what awaits all visitors to the hotel open day on Saturday, 3 June, at the Familotel.
