With the Primary, Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory (PASO) elections getting closer, Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, rivals within Together for Change, continue to heat up the confrontation between the two that began to take shape several months ago.
The last chapter came on Thursday night, when the former president of the PRO, who took leave from that position to focus fully on the presidential campaign, harshly crossed the head of government: he recalled when the break of their relationship was, reproached him for having criticized Joaquín de la Torre and questioned him for "making decisions that he later regrets."
"I always had a good relationship with him until I told him I was going to be a candidate. That day there was something that broke and we were never the same again. Maybe he thought he was the only candidate, that there was not going to be another," said the presidential candidate of JxC in an interview she gave to LN +.
When asked if she would go with Rodriguez Larreta on vacation, she answered "no" categorically. And he delved into the differences between the two: "It always cost me the dialogue with him. I'm more about thinking about politics, scenarios, how the world is, Argentina. He is more pragmatic. It asks you if you like this or that, whether you agree or disagree with such a thing."

In another part of the talk, Luis Novaresio asked him if, if he prevailed in the internal JxC in the PASO, he would offer the mayor of Buenos Aires a ministry. "I offer Larreta a conversation on August 14 (the day after the PASO) about how the campaign continues, how we put together the parts that made up the different lists, how we organized for this second stage and then how we formed the government. I do not offer but I ask for a table where we discuss what we are going to do," replied the former Minister of Security.
Rodríguez Larreta repeatedly publicly assures that he always avoids being part of internal conflicts in the opposition. However, Bullrich said that this is not always the case and, to support his position, he resorted to an episode between his political ally Joaquín de la Torre and the head of the City Government.

"It was brave that Larreta went to San Miguel to say 'what barbarity the insecurity here, how dirty San Miguel is' when crime dropped 50%. He can't go and say 'I don't fight with anyone, I don't speak ill of anyone' if he then goes other places and doesn't. It's not worth everything," he said.
For the same reason, Joaquín de la Torre himself charged against Rodríguez Larreta in mid-May. "Let Larreta get off and stop fucking around," he said, while expressing his support for the mayor of Lanús, Néstor Grindetti, the pre-candidate for governor of the province of Buenos Aires chosen by Bullrich.
