A serious accident has occurred in the north of Bavaria: The driver of a pickup truck crashed head-on into an oncoming car.
Karsbach – Late on Thursday afternoon, June 1, a serious accident occurred in the north of Bavaria. A pickup truck had come on the B27 between Weyersfeld and Obreichenbach in the district of Main-Spessart on the oncoming lane and crashed into an oncoming car. He lost his life, two other people were seriously injured and taken to hospitals.
Serious accident in Bavaria: van driver dies, two women seriously injured
According to the police headquarters in Lower Franconia, the 61-year-old van driver had come into the oncoming lane near Weyersfeld for an unknown reason and crashed head-on into a car in which two 29-year-old women were.
The driver of the van suffered such serious injuries in the accident that he succumbed to them at the scene of the accident. The women in the car were seriously injured. The rescue workers freed her from her completely demolished car and took her to a nearby hospital.
