Nevertheless, it is still necessary to persevere, because as the Japanese have now announced, they will not release any new hardware, including Nintendo Switch 2023, in the fiscal year 2. Meanwhile, they are still struggling to meet their own expectations of the current console.

Switch 2: Release of the new Nintendo console not before March 2024
When is the release of the Switch 2? As Nintendo's president Shuntaro Furukawa has now confirmed in an interview with Bloomberg, the company will not release a new console in fiscal year 2023. The fiscal year ends in March 2024, so the Nintendo Switch 2 is not expected to be released before then.

In the past, rumors circulated about a presentation of the Nintendo Switch 2 in the summer. It is currently not clear whether these plans still exist at Nintendo.
