Closing with a magic key, guard of honor and applause. It is in a surprisingly festive atmosphere that the Disney Store on the Champs-Élysées closed its doors this Friday morning. Alongside emotional employees, a few fans came to say goodbye to their favorite store.
"I was there thirty years ago, the day the store opened. And this morning, I was there at 8 o'clock so as not to miss the last opening. I'm a big Disney fan, I come very often with my kids, I know all the employees. I'm very sad, I want to cry," says one of the faithful. "It's a page that is turning and it hurts my heart," adds another customer, who came with her daughter.

Customers who came to celebrate this last day were able to take advantage of lower prices on some products. But they also and above all had the chance to attend a ritual of Disney employees. At each store closure, they usually use this kind of magic lock to open the doors one last time.
The Champs-Élysées boutique, opened in 1993, was the only Disney boutique opened in France, apart from those present within the amusement park.
