The TikTok video that Lia Ben-Nun uploaded before she was killed on the Egyptian border (documentation on social networks according to section 27A of the Copyright Law)
Cheetah fighter Lia Ben Nun and fighter Ohad Dahan of the Caracal Battalion were killed Saturday by Egyptian policeman fire near the border with Egypt. Another IDF soldier was killed in the unusual incident, his name has not yet been released.
Ben-Nun was believed to have been killed at 6:30 a.m. after a night in which a drug smuggling area from Egypt was thwarted. The terrorist is a member of the Egyptian security forces, who may have infiltrated Israel during the thwarting of the smuggling, reached the position where Ben Nun was with another soldier and shot them. The IDF Spokesperson announced that Ben-Nun had been promoted from corporal to sergeant after her death.
In the afternoon, the terrorist was identified by an IDF force, and a shootout ensued, during which Ohad Dahan, 20, from Ofakim, was shot dead. During the exchange of fire, the terrorist, who had previously shot Lia Ben Nun and another fighter, was killed. The IDF said Dahan was promoted from sergeant to first sergeant posthumously.

The IDF confirmed that the terrorist killed was an Egyptian policeman who killed the three fighters. The IDF is conducting an investigation in close and full cooperation with the Egyptian army.
