In the nine years that the subject has been on the table, this time it seems to be materializing. The mandatory technical inspection for motorcycles will become a reality in France. Last Thursday, the Council of State gave the government two months to comply with European legislation, adopted in 2014, and to issue a decree organizing this device, the details of which will be unveiled shortly.
"The Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, will present the modalities and schedule of the technical control in the coming days, says the ministry. On this occasion he will meet the motorcycle associations. Two implementing texts have been drawn up and will then be submitted for public consultation shortly, with a view to entering into force by the end of the year."
