A 69-year-old woman from Lenggries had her debit card stolen on Thursday morning in Bad Tölz – with far-reaching consequences.
Bad Tölz - By means of a clever trick, according to the police, a previously unknown lady allegedly stole the EC card from the purse of a 69-year-old woman from Lenggries on Thursday morning. When the woman from Lenggries noticed the theft the next day, she checked her account.
Thief makes several debits from the account
In doing so, she found that several debits had been made from her account in the meantime. In total, a mid-four-digit amount was captured. According to the current state of the investigation, it must be assumed that the victim had previously been observed entering the PIN number.
