Dogs and cats: where is the risk of having your pet stolen the highest?

Tyrex, Prince, Aramis, Theos, Neige, Bayou, Sky, Yaska, Urgot... All these dogs have one thing in common: they have been stolen in recent weeks. Throughout 2022, 459 dogs and 157 cats were stolen in France from their owners. This is an increase of 21% compared to the previous year. Dogs are the animals most coveted by thieves, but cat theft is also on the rise (+101% in four years).
