During the Ironman triathlon in Hamburg, a fatal accident is said to have occurred on Sunday morning. A motorcyclist crashed into a participant and died.
Hamburg – A fatal accident occurred at the Ironman Triathlon in Hamburg on Sunday morning: On the Gauert main dike in the south of the Hanseatic city, a motorcyclist is said to have collided head-on with a cyclist and was killed. This is reported by the Bild newspaper.
Motorcyclist dies after collision with Ironman participant in Hamburg
Bild reports that the motorcyclist died as a result of the collision, while the cyclist suffered serious injuries. Around 20 emergency personnel are probably in action.
