For the third time within a very short time, there has been a tangible confrontation in Freising. This time, a taxi was the reason for the quarrel.
Freising – Already on Thursday, there were two attacks "of the unusual kind" in Freising, as the police put it. On Friday, an aggressive confrontation took place again in the city center. This time, there was a conflict between a pedestrian and a taxi on the Lower Main Street, in which a third party intervened.
According to PI Freising, a 28-year-old man from Freising ran "in the middle of the street" on Friday evening at 21:45 p.m. and came into conflict with a taxi that was also traveling on Untere Hauptstraße, but could not pass the pedestrian. The situation made the 28-year-old aggressive. Witnesses saw him beating the car.
A witness intervened and became the target of attacks himself
A 26-year-old man from Freising also witnessed the scene, confronted the gentleman – and was now the target of attacks himself. As reported by the Freising police, the 28-year-old attacked the younger man with a dog leash, but he did not put up with it and went on the attack himself. As a result of the beating of the witness, the taxi rival suffered a head laceration and was admitted to the Freising Hospital. He had an alcohol level of just under two per thousand. The 26-year-old was only very slightly drunk with 0.2 per thousand and remained uninjured according to the current state of knowledge of the PI Freising.
Now both are being investigated for bodily harm. Since the city centre was still very busy at that time, witnesses of the incident are asked to contact the Freising police on (0 81 61) 5 30 50.

It is the third similar incident within a very short time. The day before, as reported, an 18-year-old woman was suddenly attacked and slightly injured by an elderly woman at the Freising train station. In the construction site area of the Obere Hauptstraße, an unknown person bumped a 65-year-old off his bike because he did not want to get off at the eye of the needle in the construction site area – contrary to the regulation there.
