Schongau – A five-day city festival is imminent in Schongau. The focal point from Wednesday, 7 June, to Sunday, 11 June – the Thursday in between is a public holiday with Corpus Christi – will be Marienplatz. But there are also some program items around it.
The music plays on Marienplatz – in the truest sense of the word. At the former city festival of the Trachtler, several actors are on board again this time, such as Ballenhaus landlord and Christmas market maker Hermann Gleich, the city and some clubs. Longer, more extensive and in a more prominent place, the festival is now to take place.
Day of the Clubs is on Saturday; For example, the Support e.V., the BRK, the Fuchstalbahn working group of the Pfaffenwinkel e.V. environmental initiative, the ECG, the Pro Hospital Action Alliance and the Tourist Information are involved.
The latter offers, among other things, guided tours of the city. Five to nine-year-olds are taken on the discovery tour by the witch child Hagasua; Registration via the Tourist Information.
"Culture Sunday", however, is 11 June. The highlight: At 12 noon and 14 p.m., a scenic excerpt from this year's festival "1493 - Schongau between Blood and Friendship" can be seen. In addition, there will be staged readings from the play "Die Hexenfuhre" in the Stadtmuseum, to which the Kulturverein
LiccAmbra invites: The LechTheater, the music group Farbenklang and herbalist Ursula Engelwurz are participating. There will also be a magician in the city – for five magical days!
