Berlin – Even after months of preparation and intensive rehearsals, last-minute changes can still occur on a major live tour. A crew member, a dancer or a singer can drop out and replacement talents have to step in without further ado. On the "Rausch" tour, Helene Fischer (38) was now supported by a new vocalist in Berlin.

At concert in Berlin: Helene Fischer gets new background singer for "Rausch" tour

With the "Rausch" tour, Helene Fischer has a rather ambitious project at the start. The reigning pop queen will play 70 concerts throughout Germany until October and offer fans a live experience in a class of its own with the big hits and exciting acrobatic interludes. Of course, she can't put on concerts of this size on her own – and relies on the active help of numerous dancers, stage staff and background singers.

In Berlin, the unmistakable voice behind some of the biggest hit songs of all time has now been strengthened, as singer Verena Heinz was on stage with Helene Fischer at the show, as schlagerprofis.de reports. "I'm allowed to spontaneously help out with Helene Fischer this week," she announced in advance on Instagram – many of her colleagues can certainly only dream of such an opportunity.

"Rausch" tour: New background singer on tour with Helene Fischer since 2017

The concert in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin may not have been the first appearance with Helene Fischer for Verena Heinz, because as can be seen from the website of her vocal coaching project "Voiices", she has been on stage with the "Null auf 2017" interpreter since 100. It is not known why she had to spontaneously step in for the "Rausch" tour – but it stands to reason that one of the other background singers had to sit out unexpectedly.

Not only Verena Heinz got the chance to become a part of the "Rausch" tour, but also the former DSDS finalist Linda Teodosiu (31) was on stage with Helene Fischer in Bremen. Among the cheering spectators there is also one or the other celebrity: "Daughter-in-law wanted" star Vera Int-Veen really freaked out at a Helene Fischer concert.
