The first offers for the Herrsching holiday programme are already online. Booking starts on 8 July.
Herrsching – The first 13 events in the holiday program of the municipality of Herrsching for the summer of 2023 are already on the website of the municipality of Herrsching, and by July 7 there should be around 80. Wolfgang Schneider is confident. He has been coordinating events for 21 years and always looks forward to the deadline when the program will be activated for booking. This year, it's Saturday, July 8, 10 a.m. "Until then, I'll fill the program gradually."
Schneider, who also accompanies almost every event, is still looking forward to offers from clubs and institutions. Sometimes he specifically addresses them if they don't get in touch on their own. The Sportfreunde Breitbrunn, for example, "they have two nice beach volleyball courts". The prelude and conclusion have already been set – traditionally, on the first day (31 July) it goes to the Skyline Park and on the last day by steamer to Utting to the cornfield labyrinth Ex Ornamentis. After the parish hall in Widdersberg has been completed, the bakery can also be included in the holiday programme again in order to be able to bake bread in the wood-fired oven in the old, traditional way. Bowling and a visit to the donkey farm are also to be added.
Last year, only 64 events took place, which was due to the Corona foothills. This year, Schneider firmly expects that there will be around 80 events again. The first programme conference has already taken place. This year, he can once again rely on 30 supervisors. "It's going really well," says Schneider happily.
The municipality of Herrsching is generously supporting the holiday program with 30,000 euros so that all children can participate. This is the only way to ensure that no offer has to pay more than four euros – not even for Skyline Park, where admission for children alone costs 32 euros. The Ammersee community is a major exception in the district in this respect.
