In the Aartalsee in Central Hesse, a bather disappears without a trace. More than 100 emergency services are currently searching for the missing person.
Bischoffen – At the Aartalsee (Lahn-Dill-Kreis) a large search operation for a missing man is currently underway. A 31-year-old is said to have disappeared without a trace while bathing in the lake, according to witnesses around 14:30 p.m., according to several media reports.
The search for the man was called off on Saturday (3 June) and will continue on Sunday (4 June). In addition to boats and divers, drones and a helicopter are also in use, reports the hessenschau. A total of 100 emergency personnel searched for the missing person on site.
The bathing lake, about 25 kilometers from Giessen, is currently closed to visitors. (ESA)
