On June 3, 1968, the first program of "Almorzando con Mirtha Legrand" was broadcast, which years later would become a classic of Argentine television. Together with Carlos Rottemberg, the diva celebrated the 55th anniversary of the milestone that marked her career.
The host and the famous theatrical producer, among others, met on Saturday night to commemorate the beginnings of the cycle of televised lunches that, throughout its history, featured important figures from the world of entertainment, politics, society and sport.
With a dinner at La Recova, located in Retiro, the guests entertained Mirtha for the anniversary of the program that she headed since its inception and that throughout its history summoned recognized national and international figures, from all over the world and from all areas.

The only thing that could keep Legrand away from lunches was the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 that forced her to reinforce care for her health due to her age. It was her granddaughter Juanita Viale who replaced her during those years at the head of broadcasting.
Away from the small screen, Marcela Tinayre's mother currently maintains an active social life that includes outings to the theater, events and celebrations. Like when he went to see "Tootsie", the play by Nicolás Vázquez or when he attended the avant premiere of the series produced by his grandson, "Ringo, glory and death".

Always elegant, Nacho Viale's grandmother arrived at the place dressed completely in white with silver shoes. The look was composed of a white dress with details in lace and transparencies, a fur coat, a scarf on the neck and a pearl necklace, all in the same color.

Upon arriving at the exclusive restaurant, the diva spoke to the media who were waiting for her to make a note and ask for a few words in the framework of such an important date.

How is the state of health of Mirtha Legrand
At the beginning of May of this year, the diva underwent an operation to place a pacemaker and had to spend a night hospitalized in the Mater Dei sanatorium.

"The operation was fantastic, a success. I feel a little weak, but fine. I'm happy," were her first statements from the car that took her home.
"They told me I can't move my left arm much, but nothing else. I can walk and do my usual life. The truth is that they have given me a wonderful treatment. Now I'm going to rest for a few days, rest. The doctors will come to see me at home," he said at the time.
Mirtha Legrand spoke to the media after her operation.
In addition, the host said that she woke up at 6 in the morning and felt very good: "It was all good, guys, a success," she remarked. Meanwhile, he warned that for the moment he will not return to television.
As Nacho Viale's grandmother had already clarified before the intervention,the placement of this device was preventive and to take care of his heart health.
