Emmanuel Macron developed his views on European security at the Globsec forum in Bratislava, insisting on the unity of the continent, support for Ukraine in the face of the Russian invasion, the sovereignty of the Union, notably on the military level through the constitution of a European defence pillar within NATO. At the geopolitical level, it completed the proposals set out in The Hague to ensure Europe's economic security around five axes: the single market, industrial policy, protection, reciprocity and cooperation.
